We are so excited to announce that we are opening a second location at The Forks! We are thrilled to be joining this iconic Winnipeg market and all of the talented local shops and restaurants that make The Forks such an amazing destination.  We are currently looking to fill a few positions at our new store: Full-Time Store Manager and Part-Time Front-of-House. Both of these positions are set to start in late February/early March, 2018.

 


 

Full-Time Store Manager Position

 

Candidate Profile Summary: We are looking for a Store Manager to join our team at The Forks.  We want an enthusiastic role model who will motivate team members to deliver exceptional service for every guest, every time. This is a permanent full-time position with opportunity for advancement within our growing company.

 

Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the duties and responsibilities of the below “Storefront Position” job posting, as well as:

  • Demonstrate a passion for guest service and creating exceptional guest experiences
  • Pride yourself on building relationships with guests and your team
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a passion for coaching and mentoring
  • Have a desire to gain experience to help you be successful in your career
  • In charge of scheduling staff
  • Involved in employee evaluations and reviews with management team
  • Ensures production needs are being met by being in communication with kitchen management team

 

Credentials and Experience: 1+ years in a management role in customer service driven job.

Part-Time Front-of-House Position

 

Candidate Profile Summary: We are looking for a hard working, dedicated person, with open availability and positive energy to join our Jenna Rae Cakes Storefront Team at The Forks. This is a permanent part-time position with opportunity for advancement in our growing company.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Uses communication skills to build strong relationships with customers
  • Ensures that every customer is served in a friendly, polite, and prompt manner
  • Deals with customer needs and concerns (both in-person and on the phone)
  • Ensures that the cooler is fully stocked, and presented in an aesthetically pleasing and organized manner
  • Ensures the storefront is always clean and presented in the highest company standard
  • Takes part in opening/closing duties
  • Takes part in additional cleaning/duties
  • May be required to work at our 580 Academy location as needed

 

Credentials and Experience: 1+ years in a customer service driven job.
