We've been waiting for the moment when we could do another JRC Theme Day and the time has finally arrived! 

Step right up, folks! It’s time to witness the whimsical, taste the tantalizing and get in line for the wonder, the flavour and the fun of Carnival Theme Day!

All the fun and flavours of hometown carnivals available for one day only at Academy and Island Lakes! From specialty treats you won’t find on our regular menu to carnival-favourite flavours, we’ve got a menu with something sweet for everyone!

Try our Hot Dog Eclairs, Apple Hand Pies, Cyclone Cakesicles or sip on some homemade Blue Razz Lemonade! Enjoy a Butterbeer Macaron, Carnival Chocolate Fudge Cookie Sandwich or Deep Fried Oreo Cupcake! And, of course, lots of Cotton Candy treats!

No pre-orders or day of reservations. First come, first served. Expect a line up early in the day.

To make waiting in line extra fun for the kids, there will be free face painting from 11:45am - 1:45pm and there will be free balloons (while supplies last)! There are also special treats unique to each shop! When you stop by Academy, you can purchase Mini Doughnuts! Meanwhile, Island Lakes will have Snow Cones!
