For May 2023, JRC is Giving Back to Peer Connections Manitoba!

Peer Connections Manitoba (formerly the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society) is all about people helping people. Their mission is to provide quality mental health education and value-based peer support for Manitobans and their families dealing with mental health challenges.
  

On Thursday, May 11, Peer Connections Manitoba is hosting their annual Iris Gala. At the Gala, they'll honour the past and the contributions that the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society has made over its almost forty years of service; and to embrace their future as they expand their reach to include support for all Manitobans experiencing mental health and addictions challenges. Funds raised at the 2023 Iris Gala will support ongoing and critically needed peer support services in clinical spaces and in community/ virtual settings; and mental health education programs.

Throughout the month of May, purchase cupcakes in-store at Academy, Island Lakes or The Forks, through SkipTheDishes, or online, and 5% of all sales will be donated to the Peer Connections Manitoba and the Iris Gala
