We are looking for a Part Time Junior Baker to join our bustling and dedicated kitchen team!
The Junior Baker works under the supervision of the Lead Baker, assisting with the preparation and execution of daily baking tasks. This includes a variety of duties from ingredient preparation to product packaging, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
This role is currently part time with the potential to grow into full time.
Key Responsibilities
☺︎ Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients for baking, such as measuring and mixing ingredients, monitoring oven times, and cleaning work areas.
☺︎ Support: Support the Lead Baker in executing daily production plans by completing specific baking tasks as directed.
☺︎ Packaging: Package finished products, ensuring they meet quality standards for labeling, presentation and consistency.
☺︎ Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
☺︎ Efficiency: Aid in the timely completion of baking tasks to meet production deadlines.
☺︎ Food Safety: Follow proper food safety and handling procedures to maintain the highest level of hygiene in the kitchen.
☺︎ Communication: Communicate with Lead Bakers to inform them of any issues, ingredient shortages, or concerns that arise during shifts.
☺︎ Cross-Training: Participate in cross-training efforts to support various kitchen roles as needed, such as decorating or packaging.
