Responsibilities
- Stack, fill, and decorate cakes according to the weekly production schedule
- Creation of decorative touches for cakes including fondant toppers, greeting plaques, etc.
- Ensure each outgoing cake is to company standards from bake to final product
- Check with managing staff for any detail clarification required to ensure customer satisfaction
- Responsible for self-managing time and efficiency
- Work closely with the cake team and all bakers to ensure products are produced and stored in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure overall cleanliness and health standards are being met
- Demonstrates respect for kitchen including staff and equipment
- A passion for baking and cake decorating must be evident in daily work
- Ability to work well alone or in a team setting

- Hand piping experience an asset

- Pastry Arts diploma or equivalent education favoured, but not required
- Experience in a bakery/kitchen setting required

- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Must be able to lift 20kg
- Must be available for our Cake Decorating shifts, Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm (start time is flexible)
