Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend ordering your cake at least 2-3 weeks in advance to secure your spot— especially for weekends when we can book up quick!

Why? Because our cakes aren’t just desserts— they’re handcrafted centrepieces that take time, detail, and love to create.

But if you’re planning ahead for a wedding, large event, or custom design, give us a bit more time (6-8 weeks is ideal) to bring your dream to life.

If you're hoping for something custom, we’ll need a bit of notice— beautiful takes time (and buttercream!).

Whether you're feeding 6 people or 60, we've got a cake that fits the moment:

  • 4-inch Mini Cakes – Serves 4–6
  • 6-inch – Serves 10–12
  • 8-inch – Serves 20–24
  • 2-tier – Serves 30+ (perfect for big parties or tiered wedding cakes)

Our team can help you choose the perfect size—just tell us how many you're celebrating with, and we'll take it from there.

Instead of slicing like a pizza, cut your cake into neat rectangles for the most servings and the cleanest presentation.

✨ Pro tip: Use a hot knife (run it under warm water) and wipe between slices. It makes even soft buttercream and ganache glide like magic.

Here’s how to keep your cake looking and tasting its best:

  • If you are serving the cake on the day that you pick it up from the bakery, you can choose to refrigerate it or keep it out of direct sunlight in a cool area.
  • If you choose to refrigerate your cake, please take it out 3+ hours before serving to ensure soft cake and creamy buttercream.

Cakes are best when enjoyed within 3 days after purchase. Store your cake by placing wax paper or plastic wrap on any exposed cake and place in the fridge.

*NOTE* We do not recommend freezing whole cakes. If you want to store leftover cake in the freezer, cut chilled cake into slices, then wrap each piece in plastic wrap. Place in a freezer bag or airtight container into the freezer. Allow slices to thaw in the fridge overnight before serving.
